Singapore Gymnastics (SG) is pleased to announce the commencement of the annual Open Selection Trial for its renowned National Training Centre (NTC) Programme. Designed to identify and nurture exceptional talent in Men's Artistic Gymnastics, Women's Artistic Gymnastics, and Rhythmic Gymnastics, the trial offers aspiring gymnasts a pathway to represent Singapore on the international stage.

The NTC Programme is a cornerstone of high-performance gymnastics in Singapore, providing selected athletes with elite training opportunities to achieve their fullest potential. Entry into the programme is exclusively through selection, ensuring that only the most promising individuals are admitted.

This year's Selection Trial will occur in two phases:

Phase 1: Current gymnasts and interested children are invited to participate in the selection trials for 2024, scheduled at the dates listed below for each of our three NTC's. Register your interest to attend Phase 1.

Phase 2: Selected gymnasts from phase 1 will undergo a one-month trial training with the NTC, involving a monthly training fee. Upon successful completion, participants will be offered an official position in the NTC, subject to acceptance.

While admission to the NTC Programme is a significant achievement, it doesn't guarantee a permanent position. Regular assessment and attendance monitoring ensure that only those demonstrating consistent progress and commitment remain in the programme.

Interested athletes are reminded to communicate transparently with their current club. SG never approaches athletes directly and collaborates closely with affiliated clubs throughout the selection process.
