GymFest 2026 – “Storybook Adventures”

GymFest Singapore is an annual gymnastics festival organised by Singapore Gymnastics since 2007 and is modelled after the spirit of the World Gymnaestrada. As part of the global Gymnastics for All movement, GymFest celebrates participation, creativity and the joy of movement through performances that bring communities together.

Guided by the pillars of Fun, Fitness, Fundamentals and Friendship, GymFest promotes healthy living and provides an inclusive platform for participants of all ages and abilities to express themselves through gymnastics.

This year's theme, "Storybook Adventures," invites participants and spectators to step into the magical world of books and imagination. From timeless fairy tales and beloved children's classics to modern adventures and fantasy worlds, performances will bring favourite stories to life through movement, music and creativity.

Join us as gymnasts transform the performance floor into pages of a living storybook, where princes and princesses, wizards and dragons, heroes and villains, and magical creatures come together in a celebration of imagination and storytelling.

To enhance this year's experience, spectators will enter GymFest through a specially themed "Library Entrance," stepping through the doors of an enchanting library and into a world where stories come alive through gymnastics performances.

GymFest welcomes participants of all ages and experience levels—from young beginners to seasoned performers. As a non-competitive event, it celebrates diversity, creativity and the shared joy of movement.

How to Participate?

Joining GymFest is easy!

• Form a group with a minimum of 5 participants.
• Choose a story inspired by this year's theme, "Storybook Adventures."
• Create a routine between 1 and 5 minutes in duration.
• Select suitable music, costumes and props (where appropriate) to help bring your story to life.
• Complete the GymFest Registration Form before the registration closing date.
