Judge Development

Judges play a vital role in officiating at competitions. With the competitive nature of our sport, judges are required to assess an athlete's performance, to understand and apply the rules in their relevant disciplines in a consistent, fair and objective manner.

To ensure that athletes are enabled to have their routines evaluated fairly, Singapore Gymnastics (SG) provides quality judging courses across various levels. Competition rules and regulations are reviewed and updated every four years in line with the Olympic cycle, which is led by our International Federation (FIG).

SG Judging Pathway consists of the following levels:

• National Level 1 Judge
• National Level 2 Judge
• National Level 3 Judge
• Brevet Judge (FIG)
