Building a United RG Community

On 15 December 2022, the President convened a meeting with affiliated RG Clubs to develop alignment and key strategies that would unite the RG Community. After the meeting, the Board requested that the Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Advisory Council (TAC) discuss and develop key strategies or actions around improving the judging and judging processes for RG events.

National Judges Refresher Course 2023

With National Championships around the corner, Singapore Gymnastics have hosted a series of refresher courses for our national judges. Rhythmic Gymnastics: 13th and 27th February The course is hosted by Ms Phaan Yilin, FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics Category 2 Judge. Women Artisitic Gymnastics: 19th February  The course is led by Ms Yang Xiaoyun, together with Ms Lim Heem Wei, both of them FIG WAG Brevet Judges.

TRA National Judges Course 2023

Singapore Gymnastics is pleased to conduct the Trampoline National Judges Course over two weekends in July. The course was conducted by Ms Tan Xi Ting and Lee Kern Choong, both FIG Trampoline Category 4 Judge. Singapore Gymnastics would like to announce the following judges attaining their accreditation: Level 1                                                              Chloe SHAW, Kaixin LEONG, Shane LEE Level 3 Keiran LOW Congratulations to all judges!

WAG National L1 Judges Course 2023

Singapore Gymnastics is pleased to conduct the Women's Artisitic Gymnastics Level 1 National Judges Course over the past two weekends (18th and 25th February 2023). The course was conducted by Ms Yang Xiaoyun, FIG WAG Category 2 Judge. Singapore Gymnastics would like to announce the following judges attaining their accreditation: Nydia HENG, Samantha LOH, Hannah QUAH and Sarisha XIU. Congratulations to all newly accredited judges!

Menstrual Cycle & Performance and other workshops

Every year on 8th of March we celebrate International Women's Day! This day seeks to celebrate the achievements of female athletes/coaches/administrators and to work towards a more equitable and inclusive sports culture for women and girls. To honour our women in sport, CoachSG will be organising a series of workshops this coming March including impact of menstrual cycle in sports, reducing knee injury in female athletes etc

2nd FIG Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships

The 2nd FIG Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships will be held in Antalya, Turkey from 29 March – 2 April 2023.  We are proud to announce that Jovi Loh will be representing Singapore in the Men's Artistic Gymnastics discipline at the 2nd FIG Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships. At Singapore Gymnastics, we wish Jovi to perform to the best of his ability and fly the Singapore flag high!

National Championships registration hits an all time high!

This year alone we have had across the board a 20% increase in registration which is more than 250 additional athletes from 2022. This indeed is a fantastic problem to have, and we are excited to see the growth of the sport.
