Update on the Review of the Rhythmic National Programme

The Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Advisory Council (TAC) has taken significant steps forward by establishing a dedicated working group composed of Phaan Yilin, Cecilia Chia, Bianka Panova, Berfin Serdil Ors, Zhou Ying and Cherrie Kwek. This esteemed group has been entrusted with the crucial mission of developing and implementing the Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) National Programme for the period 2025 and beyond under the guidance of the RG TAC.

2023 Annual General Meeting

The final papers for the AGM being held on Saturday 9 September at 5:00pm at the Black Box Auditorium @ Sports Hub Visitor Centre, 6 Stadium Walk, Singapore 397698.

Bianka Panova International Cup 2023

Prepare to be swept into a world of elegance and athleticism as the Bianka Panova International Cup 2023 arrives, promising a breathtaking display of rhythmic gymnastics prowess. From December 20th to 22nd, the prestigious OCBC Arena will come alive with the grace and power of athletes from around the world, as they converge to compete in this highly anticipated international event.

Gracias Cup 2023

Our RG gymnasts went over to Budapest, Hungary, from 16 to 21 August 2023 to compete for the XXVII. Gracia Cup 2023. The competition comprised of many athletes from countries like Italy, South Korea, Czech Republic, Italy, and many others. Despite the stiff competition, our contingent comprised of a total of 16 athletes, displayed a remarkable performance and gained valuable experience from this competition.

Annual Awards Highlights

On the 16th of July 2023, Singapore Gymnastics proudly organized and hosted its highly anticipated Annual Awards. The prestigious event took place at the Black Box Auditorium, marking a significant milestone as it celebrated its sixth consecutive year of recognizing excellence and achievement within the gymnastics community. In a memorable evening filled with excitement and camaraderie, attendees were treated to a showcase of remarkable accomplishments and dedication.

May 2023 Board Update

This is an update from the 18th Board Meeting held on Wednesday 24 May 2023 at the SG National Office.

2023 Peter Lim Scholarship

The Peter Lim Scholarship ceremony was held yesterday, 10th July 2023, to award the recipients for this scholarship. The Singapore Olympic Foundation (SOF) set up the SOF-Peter Lim Scholarship with a S$10-million donation from philanthropist and sports enthusiast, Mr Peter Lim.

2023 Artistic Gymnastic World Championships

Following the conclusion of our 2023 Artistic Gymnastic Asian Championships that was held in Singapore, from 10th – 18th June. We are proud to announce that Nadine Nathan and Emma Yap have secured themselves a spot at the 2023 Artistic World Championships. The competition will be held between 30th September to 8th October in Antwerp, Belgium.

8 days left till we commence the 2023 Singapore Open!

With only 8 more days away till we commence the 2023 Singapore Open, we hope that you are looking forward to one of our most exciting athlete line-ups! The competition will be held from 26th May – 4th June at the Bishan Sports Hall, and it will consist of the 4 competing disciplines: Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG), Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) and Trampoline Gymnastics (TRA).

32nd Southeast Asian Games Results

The Men’s Artistic Gymnastics team participated in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) held in Phnom Penh. The competition runs from 8th – 9th May 2023. The team comprised of Chong Jer Rong, Kaeson Lim, Zac Liew, Terry Tay, and Kho Tong-Yu. These athletes may seem familiar to some of you, as this team consists of some athletes who clinched Team Bronze in the 2021 Southeast Asian Games (SEAG).
