Published Fri 05 Dec 2025

Dear Gymnastics Community,

Singapore Gymnastics (SG), in collaboration with the Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), Appoints Working Groups to Re-Start Rhythmic Gymnastics Groups (RGG) in Singapore

Singapore Gymnastics has recently reintroduced RGG in Singapore. While we are working towards forming a senior group to represent Singapore at the Asian Championships 2026 and Asian Games 2026, our vision extends to the SEA Games 2027 and SEA Games 2029.

To develop a national plan and pathway for younger age groups in RGG, SG has formed a dedicated working group in collaboration with the current RG TAC. This group will oversee the planning and implementation of programmes and structures needed to build a sustainable and competitive group system in Singapore.

Members of the RGG Working Group
The following members will work closely with the Performance Director to ensure Singapore establishes a clear pathway and solid foundation for group development:

Cherrie Kwek
Phaan Yi Lin
Zhou Ying
Elina Baruzdina
Marta Rostoburova

We will continue to keep the community updated throughout this process. Detailed information on the planned changes and implementation timelines will be shared once finalised.

Thank you and stay tuned for further updates.
