Singapore Gymnastics has released the updated SG National Squad Policy for 2026, which replaces the previous 2025 version.

The revised policy has been updated to improve clarity, alignment with current performance pathways, while supporting athlete development and transparency in selection processes.

• Improved clarity on national squad categories and definitions, ensuring better understanding of athlete status and expectations.
• Clearer alignment between national squad membership and selection principles, including performance standards.
• Updated guidance on participation in World Gymnastics (formerly FIG) sanctioned competitions, including clearer linkage between national squad status and eligibility for World Gymnastics sanctioned events.
• Refinements to selection across multiple competitions, allowing national squad status to be determined and reviewed using results from more than one designated competition.
