Singapore Gymnastics successfully hosted Club Congress 2026 on 6 May 2026 at the SportSG Auditorium, bringing together club owners, coaches, and members of the gymnastics community for a morning of learning, discussion, and collaboration.
The Congress provided an opportunity for clubs to connect, share ideas, and align on the continued growth and development of gymnastics in Singapore.
The programme opened with a Safe Sport and Digital Boundaries session presented by SportSG, reinforcing the importance of safe, respectful, and positive sporting environments across all levels of the sport.
Following this, participants engaged in an interactive activity titled “One Pathway, One Outcome: Winning Together.” Led by CEO Richard Gordon, the session highlighted the importance of grassroots and high-performance pathways working together as one integrated system to support a more connected and sustainable gymnastics ecosystem, reinforcing the message that all parts of the sport must collaborate to achieve shared outcomes.
This was followed by the Events and Marketing Manager, who presented on the current competitive landscape and facilitated a discussion to gather feedback from clubs on upcoming events and future programme direction.
A key highlight of the event was the panel discussion, “Thriving, Not Just Surviving: Building a Sustainable Club Business.” The panel featured four speakers representing different club business models, each bringing unique perspectives, authentic experience, and practical insights from across the industry. The discussion focused on club sustainability, operational challenges, and strategies for long-term growth within the gymnastics landscape.
The event concluded with networking over lunch, providing attendees with further opportunities to continue conversations and strengthen connections across the gymnastics community.
