Artistry Deductions: Build Routines That Score
Artistry on beam and floor often causes hidden score losses, yet many coaches struggle with choreography. This workshop shows what judges look for in choreography and provides practical tips to create routines. Coaches will leave with strategies to improve posture, footwork, and routine composition, helping gymnasts earn more points with better choreography.
Mastering Dance Elements: How gymnasts' routines are scored
Dance elements can make or break a routine. This session explains how leaps, jumps, turns, and connections are evaluated for Difficulty and Execution. Coaches will learn common pitfalls, how deductions occur, and how to construct efficient optional routines that score well.
