Singapore Gymnastics is pleased to announce the annual Open Selection Trials for the National Training Centres (NTCs) in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG), Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), and Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG). These trials provide a valuable opportunity for aspiring gymnasts to demonstrate their abilities and earn a place in the NTCs, where they will benefit from high-performance training alongside Singapore’s top athletes.

The NTC programmes are a key part of Singapore Gymnastics’ strategy to achieve performance development goals, supporting gymnasts in preparing for junior and senior major championships and multi-sport Games. As specialised and centralised training environments, the NTCs play an important role in the national athlete development pathway.

While admission to the NTC Programme is a significant achievement, it doesn't guarantee a permanent position. Regular assessment and attendance monitoring will be conducted to ensure that only the most committed athletes remain in the programme.

Singapore Gymnastics works closely with affiliated clubs throughout the selection process and does not approach athletes directly. Athletes are encouraged to maintain open communication with their current clubs at all times.

The 2026 NTC Selection Trial consists of two phases:

• Phase 1: Open to those who are interested in joining the NTC Programme. The date, timing and venue for each discipline’s phase 1 trials are listed in the table below.
• Phase 2: Gymnasts selected from Phase 1 will be invited to a one-month trial training at the NTC. A training fee applies. Successful athletes will be offered a spot in the NTC, subject to acceptance.
