Singapore Gymnastics is pleased to announce the details of the 2026 National Squad Induction and Training Schedule, alongside key updates to the national squad selection process.
National Squad Induction – 9 May 2026
The annual National Squad Induction will take place on:
9 May 2026 (Saturday)
2:00pm–5:00pm
Black Box Auditorium
6 Stadium Walk

All national squad athletes, coaches, and club representatives selected from National Championships 2026 are invited to attend.
The induction will be conducted as a combined session across all disciplines, bringing together athletes, coaches, and clubs for a consolidated briefing. The session will cover:
- National squad expectations
- Policies and standards
- Updates to the national squad structure
This unified approach reflects Singapore Gymnastics’ continued efforts to strengthen alignment and collaboration across the gymnastics community.
Enhanced Dynamic Selection Process for 2026
Under Singapore Gymnastics’ enhanced dynamic national squad selection system, athletes will be selected based on performances across three key competitions:
- National Championships (NAT Champs)
- Singapore Open (SGO)
- Classic Competition
(Trampoline excluded)
The first stage of selections will take place at the upcoming National Championships. Athletes selected at this stage are required to attend the induction on 9 May 2026.
Athletes who qualify following the Singapore Open and/or Classic Competition will be contacted individually and provided with the relevant briefing materials and information.
Clubs are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the full discipline-specific selection criteria outlined in the National Squad Policy:

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG)

- 25 April — 9:00am–1:00pm
- 16 May — 9:00am–1:00pm
- 8 July — 4:00pm–7:30pm
- 15 August — 9:00am–1:00pm
- 3 October — 9:00am–1:00pm
- 18 November — 4:00pm–7:30pm
- 5 December — 9:00am–1:00pm
Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG)
Venue: CCAB
- 17 May — 2:00pm–6:00pm
- 23 August — 2:00pm–6:00pm
- 1 November — 2:00pm–6:00pm
- 9–11 December — 4:00pm–8:00pm
Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG)
Venue: OCBC (subject to changes)
- 18 April — 9:00am–1:00pm
- 24 October — 9:00am–1:00pm
- 3–5 December — 9:00am–1:00pm
