Cecilia has been actively involved in the Gymnastics scene for almost two decades, first as an athlete, then a coach, club owner, and judge. Her biggest achievement as a gymnast was representing Singapore at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. Even during her University years, she interned at Singapore Gymnastics, continued to coach at her own academy (D'Gymnastique Academy), became a FIG Brevet Judge and led the Technical Advisory Committee as Technical Director.

After graduating from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science with Honors in Psychology, she continues to give back to the gymnastics community. She is currently also an Associate Financial Planner and has work experience that stretches across the fields of event-management (for example, hosting the Aesthetic Group Gymnastics World Cup in Singapore with the participation of close to 20 countries across the world), fund-raising events, marketing projects and more. She is excited to share her ideas and experiences in these fields to contribute constructively as a Director of Singapore Gymnastics.

Cecilia sincerely believes that Gymnastics is a holistic sport that every child should have exposure to, and looks forward to making this sport flourish in Singapore.
