Singapore Gymnastics is pleased to welcome Lu Li as the WAG SGDP Expert, bringing her wealth of experience as an elite gymnast and coach to support the development of our athletes and coaches.

Lu Li is a former Chinese national team gymnast and 1992 Olympic champion on uneven bars, where she achieved a perfect 10.0 at the Barcelona Olympic Games. She also won a silver medal on balance beam.

Following her competitive career, Lu Li transitioned into coaching, continuing to share her technical knowledge and experience with the next generation of gymnasts. Her journey from elite athlete to coach has given her valuable insight into both the demands of high-performance gymnastics and the importance of building strong foundations at the developmental level.

As the WAG SGDP Expert, Lu Li joined the camp to work alongside our athletes and coaches, sharing her technical expertise and experience from years in high-performance gymnastics. During the camp, she also conducted a workshop, providing valuable insights to support the development of our coaches.

Her involvement in the SGDP provides an exciting opportunity for our gymnasts and coaches to learn from an experienced international expert, while continuing to strengthen our training practices and build a strong and sustainable pathway for Women's Artistic Gymnastics in Singapore.
