Singapore Gymnastics (SG) is proud to celebrate the selection of Lynette Tan and Emily Chan as Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) judges for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.

Lynette Tan has been selected as a judge, a significant achievement recognising her technical expertise and the high standards required to officiate at an Olympic event. Her appointment is a proud moment for Singapore’s gymnastics community.

Emily Chan, SG’s WAG Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) Judge Coordinator, has also been selected as a judge for the Games under the USA. Her selection adds to this celebration and recognises the expertise she brings to her work supporting WAG judging in Singapore.

Judges play a vital role in gymnastics, applying the Code of Points with precision and consistency to ensure that athletes’ performances are assessed fairly. Selection for this responsibility reflects the dedication, preparation and continuous learning required of an international judge.

These appointments highlight the importance of developing technical officials alongside athletes and coaches. Lynette and Emily’s achievements offer encouragement to aspiring judges in Singapore seeking to progress to the highest levels of the sport.

Singapore Gymnastics congratulates Lynette and Emily on their selections and wishes them every success at Dakar 2026.
