Singapore Gymnastics Wishes Jovi Loh a Speedy Recovery and Announces Team Updates

Published Mon 07 Sep 2026

Singapore Gymnastics congratulates our MAG and WAG teams on their outstanding performances at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Unfortunately, our MAG gymnast Jovi Loh sustained an injury during the Commonwealth Games all-around final. He subsequently underwent surgery and is now focused on his rehabilitation and recovery.

Although Jovi had successfully secured places for the upcoming Asian Games and Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, he will be unable to participate in either competition. Singapore Gymnastics wishes Jovi a smooth and speedy recovery. We are confident that he will return stronger and look forward to seeing him back in competition when he is ready.

Following the necessary approvals, Kenzu Kang will join the Singapore MAG team for the upcoming Asian Games.

Singapore will also be represented by Amanda Yap, Alena Tan and Asher Pua at the upcoming Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Singapore Gymnastics wishes all our athletes and officials the very best for the Asian Games and World Championships.
