Gym Challenge 2025: A Celebration of Gymnastics, Community, and Skill
On 2 June 2025, Singapore Gymnastics hosted our latest Gym Challenge at Bishan Sports Hall, drawing 180 participants from seven clubs, including Stardust Gymnastics, who joined us for the first time. The event continues to grow, offering a vibrant, supportive environment for gymnasts of all ages and levels to connect and engage through sport.
Participants moved through eight stations; each one focused on a different gymnastics skill. This event is not about competing against others, but about personal growth: seeing if you can push yourself a little further, attempt a higher-level challenge, or achieve a higher star rating than you did the last time. Teams had the freedom to choose their level of difficulty empowering gymnasts to take ownership of their progress.
What truly made the event special was the team of station masters — composed of former gymnasts, current club athletes, and gymnasts from the National Training Centre. These individuals brought their technical knowledge and passion for the sport to the forefront, serving as guides, demonstrators, and judges.
We are deeply grateful to these station master’s for their dedication. Their presence not only raised the standard of the event but also inspired younger gymnasts by showing them what lies ahead in their gymnastics journey.
Several volunteers also took the opportunity to contribute to the event as part of their school’s Values in Action (VIA) programme. We welcome individuals who have gymnastics experience —— to be part of our next Gym Challenge.
