Singapore Gymnastics is delighted to announce that Georgia-Rose Brown has been appointed as Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Head Coach.
Georgia-Rose Brown is a qualified Doctor of Physiotherapy, coach, and high-performance athlete with extensive experience in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. She has competed internationally throughout her gymnastics career, representing Australia and New Zealand at seven World Championships, two Commonwealth Games, where she is a dual silver medallist, and one Olympic Games. This experience has given her a strong understanding of elite preparation, performance demands, and athlete wellbeing.
Alongside her athletic career, she brings a strong, evidence-based approach to training, injury prevention, and long-term athlete development through her Doctor of Physiotherapy qualification. This background informs her coaching philosophy of developing strong, technically sound gymnasts while prioritising safe progression, physical literacy, and confidence.
Georgia has coached across a range of levels, from developmental programs to high-performance athletes, and is passionate about creating a positive and supportive training environment where athletes feel motivated, challenged, and supported. She values clear communication with both gymnasts and parents and aims to help each athlete reach their potential while fostering a lifelong love of the sport.
Georgia’s official duties are scheduled to begin in January 2026, marking another step in Singapore’s mission to elevate its WAG programme to the highest competitive standards.
We are excited to welcome Georgia to our team and look forward to the unique contributions she will bring to the WAG programme.
