In July, Singapore Gymnastics (SG) proudly ran both Fundamental and Intermediate Coaching Courses, bringing together a passionate group of almost 50 coaches eager to develop their knowledge, sharpen their skills, and contribute meaningfully to the future of the sport.

The courses, designed to equip coaches with essential technical and pedagogical tools, were led by experienced facilitators who generously shared their expertise, energy, and time. SG extends heartfelt thanks to Ryosuke Kusumi, Derek Trotter, Aizat Jufrie, Natasha Kang, Zhang Zhen, Amy Kwan, Wen Wen Wang, Jeanette Tan and Jessica Hinton for their vital role in guiding and inspiring the next generation of coaches.
A sincere thank you also goes to the enthusiastic and dedicated coaches who participated. Their engagement and willingness to learn demonstrate a strong commitment to personal growth and the betterment of athlete development across all levels.
Special recognition to the gymnast demonstrators from SG NTC, BazGym and The Yard who generously contributed their time and skills during the practical sessions. Their involvement provided a crucial hands-on learning experience, bringing course content to life and enhancing the learning environment for all participants.

SG recognises that these coaching courses are not an endpoint but rather the beginning of an ongoing journey. Participants are now completing their practical experience placements in their respective clubs, applying what they've learned in real-world settings and gaining valuable insights through on-the-ground coaching. True impact of coach education lies not only in the structured course content but in the continued reflection, mentorship, and hands-on practice that follows.
To all who were involved from the facilitators to the coaches, and gymnasts, thank you for contributing to a successful and meaningful experience. The future of coaching in our sport is bright, and together, we are building a stronger, more informed coaching community.
