2025 SG Coaches Congress was a resounding success, more than 100 attendees joined us, collectively signing up for 200+ workshops, all united under the theme “Coaching for Impact: Building Pathways through Participant-Centred Practices.”
Across three days, attendees explored 24 dynamic workshops and heard from 15 distinguished local and international speakers, including presenters from other sports who brought fresh perspectives and approaches to coaching. Sessions were designed to engage participants actively in discussion and practical exercises. The congress was structured around three interconnected themes:
One of the defining features of this year’s event was the participant-centred design of workshops. Rather than passively listening, coaches actively engaged in activities and discussions, ensuring that knowledge-sharing was dynamic and practical. The addition of international speakers enriched the program by offering global insights tailored to specific coaching disciplines.
Attendee feedback highlighted the impact of this approach:
The atmosphere throughout the congress was one of collaboration, curiosity, and connection. Coaches left with not only new tools and strategies, but also fresh perspectives on how to integrate participant-centred practices into their own environments.
We extend our gratitude to the speakers and the national office team who made this gathering possible, and to every coach who contributed their voice to the discussions.
Looking ahead, planning is already underway for the next SG Coaches Congress. For those who joined us this year, don’t forget to give feedback and access your CCE hours, slides, and photos via email. Stay tuned for updates—we look forward to continuing the journey of coaching for impact together.
