Singapore Gymnastics would like to the following clubs and their members who took time out and attended the 2023 Club Forum held on Wednesday, 8 November from 9.30am - 2.30pm.

The forum discussion took place in person, the first time in four years and it stood out as a beacon of success and unity. Reflecting on the exchange that took place, it was evident that this dialogue was not just a conversation; it was a catalyst for positive change and collective achievement as a whole community.

The agenda addressed key issues such as information around club affiliation, code of conduct, Club Quality Assurance Programme (CQAP), Competitions and Participation events, judging and club communications. Club key staff members from all gymnastics disciplines converged to share insights, concerns, and innovative ideas around these matters. The forum became a melting pot of perspectives, fostering an environment where every voice was heard and valued, ideas heard and expanded upon.

One of the key triumphs of the forum was the open brainstorm and sharing session around judging. Members had voiced their challenges and many great suggestions on increasing the quantity and quality of our judging pool. Club support, competitions and Participation events were another critical aspect addressed during the discussion. Through the use of mentimeter, we were able to record club perspectives, beliefs and innovative ideas.

Looking back, the success of the forum discussion was not merely in the information shared and collected; it was in the sense of community and shared purpose that it engendered. The exchanges made and the bonds forged exemplified everyone's commitment, willingness and readiness to move the industry foward, ready to face challenges head-on. As we commemorate this milestone, we acknowledge that our strength lies not just in our individual talents but in our ability to come together, discuss, and shape the future of our sport.
