Age began gymnastics and reason for starting: I began at the age of 4, because my dad brought me to the gymnasium at his school to play and jump around because apparently I enjoyed my 'tumble tots' lessons. And there I met a coach that asked me if I wanted to join her lessons and I started there!

Personal Best Recorded and the Event in which it was recorded: South-East Asian Games 2015 IAA, and South-East Asian Games 2021 Bars IEF (Bronze)

  • South-East Asian Games 2021 – Team Bronze, and 3rd place Uneven Bars finish

Who is your favourite gymnast and why ?: My favourite gymnast is Liu Ting Ting, and Melanie DJDS. Their routines are very fun to watch and always interesting. 

Favourite music: I love music from Ben Platt, songs from various musicals and recently some mandopop!

My favourite local dish is: My favourite local dish has always been chilli crab because it's a food that I associate strongly with celebrations and I especially enjoy having the chilli crab sauce with man tou. 

My main support group consist of: My main support group consists of my parents, family, close friends and teammates!

If I was not an athlete, I would like to be: I would probably have tried some other sports and physical activities since I did love jumping around as a child. In retrospect it is surprisingly difficult to think of how it might've been different. 

One interesting fact that most people do not know about me is: I love to watch everything on 2x speed if I could because it 'saves time'

What is the greatest challenge you have faced in your sporting career? How did you overcome that?

Injuries are a constant challenge and just the most difficult challenge because it's so demoralizing.
