Singapore Gymnastics is excited to announce the details of the 2023 High Performance Coach Symposium for Rhythmic Gymnastics. This year the focus will be on further technical development for coaches in the high performance pathway.

We are thrilled to introduce the distinguished Bulgarian gymnast Silviya Miteva-Yaneva as the esteemed expert for this year's RG Symposium. Silviya is a true legend in the world of gymnastics, having showcased her talent at the 2012 London Olympics. Her journey as an international gymnast commenced in 2003, with a notable highlight at the Budapest World Championships in the same year. While her most outstanding accomplishments span from 2009 to 2013, Silviya holds the unique distinction of being the oldest gymnast in the history of Rhythmic gymnastics to secure a medal at both the European Championships (at 27 years old) and the World Championships (at 25 years old). With numerous world and European championship medals to her name, Silviya has transitioned seamlessly into coaching since her retirement in 2013.

The Symposium will have one session over two days, with sessions being conducted face to face in Sengkang Sports Centre.
