2022 Event Sanctioning

A Singapore Gymnastics sanction is an official designation issued by Singapore Gymnastics which approves the holding of a gymnastics competition in Singapore. Sanctioned Events meet a certain set of standards which ultimately showcases the commitment of the event to creating a positive athlete experience and safe environment for all participants and spectators.

3rd September 2021 is Coaches' Day!

Coaches' Day is an initiative of Sport Singapore which aims to raise the level of recognition accorded to coaches nationwide for the significant role they play in the holistic development of their athletes.

Coaches' Appreciation Month

Coach SG with Singapore Gymnastics (SG) encourage all gymnasts to join us in expressing our appreciation to our coaches with the #SGThankYouCoach campaign, by nominating an inspiring coach for us to feature them, with a 100-word write-up and a picture of the coach in action.

Olympics and Gymnastics Trivia Recap

As part of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games celebration, Singapore Gymnastics introduced Olympics and Gymnastics trivia questions through social media platforms to test just how much the community know about the event and gymnastics sport. The first trivia question that flexed participants’ trivia muscles was “The term Gymnastics is derived from a Greek word meaning…..”, participants were then given two options a. to exercise naked or b. to stretch but only 42% who partakes got the answer correctly
